Heartbreaking comment from dd tonite ...

& i was stunned.
She fell off the playground equip today & really got hurt. She's ok now, but as most little girls will do, she cried for her daddy, after i comforted her. I let her call him & she called him crying. He seemed to be able to calm her down a bit. BUT ... then he asked to speak with me - i refused.

I too hope Averey is as lucky as your kiddo, in her Dad doing something to get well. Aside from my greatest wish in life that she stay healthy & happy, & I am able to be around for a long long time to see her grow up & have children of her own - my NEXT wish would be for her father to get his act together so she has the Daddy she deserves.
As for ME ... lol ... Making "time" for LB is a bit on the selfish side!

Just my 2 cents from being involved in boards over periods of time and watching the emotional ups and downs of people in them...
I don't really see where Raquel was scathing or hateful. She stated her opinion and didn't do it in a very confrontational manner. To be honest, I agreed with her point of view, which is why I posted my response but stated it differently by acknowledging that I didn't know the whole situation and requesting clarification.
I would encourage people to continue to be friendly to newcomers and outside opinions, which is what this is for I would think. To simplify, I don't ask my mom her opinion of my latest argument with the ex unless I want some fairly biased unconditional love. If I want an objective perspective I ask someone else. It's not a bad thing.
As for taking the time to follow RLC around, I have no idea. I do know it's fairly simple to see what
