Hi Everyone,
I was on another board and another very nice member suggested that I come say hello.
Did I get this right...he lives with his EX's MOM?
Yup you got it right.
Trust me, it makes my skin crawl when he is there. But it is the only way he will come to see the kids. If I made him stay in a hotel he wouldn't come...he's that big a jerk.
But it hasn't happened since June, and I don't expect it to happen any time again soon. What I can't believe is that his girlfriend doesn't mind it!
Hi, and welcome!!!
I think the big thing is if everyone gets along which they do in EHS's and my situation.

Hi and Welcome KLM!
We are happy to have you. Your situation is understandable in that you need to find time for just the two of you..so important! I'd be frustated with the whole 'living with the exMIL' thing too. Have you been able to find alone time away regularly?
I'm looking forward to hearning more of your stories and sharing! You'll find a lot of experience, sharing, and even some great laughs here! Glad you jumped in ;o)
Thanks for the nice welcome!!
Oh wow, he does have a lot on his plate.
I am sure that through it all he appreciates you. Its hard to relate to a single parent sometimes but you sound very understanding of his time. That is scary about his daughter and the seizures. I had seizures as a child, too. It does not always turn in into epilepsy, as it did not with me. As for the xmil... he's doing good at not blowing up. It will be good for him (and you, and his kids) when he gets the house done. Its hard to live under someone elses roof- their rules- especially relatives..or in his case X relatives. Ick!
Hang in there and we look forward to hearing your questions, updates and stories :o)
