I'm going to raise my hand here. Just got out of a relationship that lasted maybe 2 1/2 months that I actually ended early August.
This man was very attentative and at first I totally ate it up. Attention was something I didn't get too much of when I was married. It was really nice at first, but it did start getting on my nerves after a while. And, he called constantly and would keep me on the phone forever. I wasn't getting anything done. And even though this guy said he was in no way wanting to ever get married again, the way he would talk about his future which included me, it was so spooky because this talking he would do started really, really early. I'm talking like after 2 weeks. At 3 weeks, he was saying the L word. I would never say that to him and I told him why I couldn't.
And I totally agree, when you have something sometimes you find out you really don't want it like you thought you did. There were drinking issues with this guy and he was just not good for me. He had such a good heart and if it wasn't for the drinking part, he would probably still be around, BUT he would have had to stop crowding me.
It felt so forced and awkward and we had almost nothing to talk about all of a sudden!
