Hey I'm making it past the 2nd date!

I have been feeling off during the last month and I attribute that to my tinnitus-ear ringing and the eHarmony revolving door of one time dates plus still feeling skittish about work.

Okay - you certainly sound "up" for it - LOL!! Have fun and come back happy. Maybe this is your match then?

I guess we're just acting like protective sisters here- and don't want to see you diving in too fast or too soon (before really knowing this woman, who seems to be in a rush to dive as well)... and having you guys crash and burn.

I know I've learned that it takes time, OVER TIME- to get to know what a person is really like. Not just a long bit of intense time. People can pretend over a weekend. But they can't pretend over several months.

But, if you think you are ready to dive in (I think you already dove on your first date!)- you are a grown man afterall and we can't stop you!

It just does seem a bit fast though- which is probably why you are getting these responses, Mark!

We are like a flock of protective sisters.

I think what got me up in an alarm was the whole weekend and rearrange everything to fit that kind of thing.

But maybe that is because I would not want to be stuck with someone, other than me, my 2 dogs and DS, for a WHOLE weekend!! LOL!!

But yes - it does take a lot of time over time to get to know someone.

I agree it does take time AND in some ways it does not.

Well, you better just make sure WE are your first stop after the weekend is over and give us the date report of the weekend!!!!!!!

OH sure... I would not really characterize this coming weekend as a date per se.

I would view it more as time where we share thoughts, selves,

I would say that any sharing of FLUIDS constitutes a date. Not every date has fluid-sharing... but any fluid-sharing get-together makes it a 'date'. LOL

~Hoping to share a bit of fluid later this evening..... except for that darn AF. *****
