Hi Tami,

A big huge welcome to you - we hope you stick around. Alison has some good points - it is best to get away from dating and get yourself going in your new place. Get settled - get divorced and give yourself a little time. Good things are yet to come.

I hope you stick around!! Nice of you to drop by!!

Thanks girls for the welcome:)
And I agree 100% about what I did and what I should
focus on right now is my kids and myself.

My x-boyfriend
stopped by last night and we are at least talking a little
bit,soo Im not really sure if we are just going to date or
not but I have told him he can not move back in.Who knows...

So what do you all plan on doing for the holidays?
This is my
first christmas,in my own house and all by myself and kids.We are
baking our cookies tonight for ho-ho,tomorrow we are going to go visit
the annual festival of lights at the lake, then we are heading to our
mall to visit ho-ho..I work Christmas eve(7am-11pm),but I can bring my work home.
I always make a christmas eve dinner(yummy turkey and all). Then on Christmas day
We are going to grandmas house for dinner...I luv Christmas:)

That is good you told your exbf he CANNOT move back in. Usually if you can't work it out the first time, it is never better the second time. Either he fills the shoes or he is out the door.

Anyway, it sounds like you have wonderful Xmas activities planned. I have my DS this year and we are getting a new puppy. And we are having family over - what a combo!! I must have been crazy but it will all be fun.

Tami,

I'm glad that you agree that you should spend time with your kids and yourself right now.

I love Christmas--when not at work. I love the traditions, like going to a church play/cantata, family, friends, present received but most especially those given to others. I've been to dad's Christmas already, next is my Stepdad's family, my Aunt's on Eve and then Mom's that day---And lucky me I work the early shift Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas to All, and may all our children be spoiled by all who know them.
