Your daughter is cute!!

Welcome to our board - I am sure you will fit right in and we always love hearing new stories.

It sounds like you just need time - don't be afraid of being single - there are a lot of things you will like about it - and you will have fun here.

Sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with your marriage when you were pregnant. There are others here who went through the same thing and now they are dating and doing great. You will do the same in time.

Hi Corley! Welcome. Your daughter is BEAUTIFUL! What a doll.

I am just so saddened by reading how many men treat their wives and their vows with so little respect. Heartbreaking. I am sorry you had to go through it.

Glad you are here though! I know how hard it is to join a new board. I can't seem to get myself to do it, and I'm not even single and dating anymore! I came to this board 4 years ago, as a single and dating mom and now here I am an old married lady still hanging around! ;)

Hi I am new here too. I'm just wondering if anyone caught Oprah yesterday. She was talking about Scott Peterson, and his sister who now believes he actually DID kill Laci was the guest. Anyway, towards the end of the show a psychiatrist came on (maybe the next Dr. Phil!) and talked about how much a woman's pregnancy affects the father to be and how little it is understood. Apparently a pregnant woman stands a greater chance of being murdered by her husband than dying of natural causes.
My husband didn't cheat when I was pregnant but about 2 weeks after we split up my neighbor and "friend" left her husband and she and my husband have been together ever since. She still lives across the street from me with her daughter. Great restraint has kept ME out of jail this past year!!

Life is funny, isn't it?

Nope didn't catch Oprah. But I can see where some men WOULD freak out and just go bizarre when their wives get pregnant. Maybe this is narrow minded of me, but I'd tend to think these were very childish, immuature men who just can't handle real responsibility. Still, it's pretty sad.

Sorry to hear about YOUR crappy ex. And man, you have certainly show GREAT restraint! LOL

Welcome to the board!
