Now, its WAY WAY WAY unlikely, but i wonder if something happened with his REAL girlfriend, lol.

He called basically just now, to chat. Weird. Although he used the excuse that he needs to do my brakes. He did the front ones a couple months ago & I said I'd have him do the others "down the road". But we havent mentioned it since. The most Ive seen or spoken to him in ages was at the swim meet Sunday.

So, he called tonite, chatted a bit about "nothing" (swim meet, my rentals, an addition Im thinking of, etc) & then he asked me when i wanted him to do my brakes. He asked what i was doing for the holiday, i told him & as I was getting ready to go, I said "Have a great holiday" & he said "Eh, I dont think so". & I said "arent you going to your parents?" & he reminded me they are away for the winter. & I said "Well you'll still have fun. Are you cooking for the Boys?" & he said "yeah, i already got the turkey ... but Im not so sure how much fun the holiday will be".

I'd call him to say Happy Thanksgiving tonight and just say "hey we are friends, just making sure all is well with you". I see no harm in asking if it was his g/f at the swim meet and then asking if they are doing OK. Truly asking as friends. Be wary though if he says all is fine with her or even if he says well things could be better.. because then he is turning you when he should be talking to her about relationship issues...and lorf knows you DON"T want to become the OW!!

Sounds to me like maybe he just misses ya, and who wouldn't miss your sparkly, bubbly attitude!!

I have a funny one too...involving NACHOS lol....

That one child that vomits per swim meet is unfortunately usually my 10-year old son Drew.

It does sound like he was trying to get you to ask about what was up or maybe testing the waters to see if you cared what was going on in his life. You know there is no crime in having him tune up more than your brakes. *wink wink*
