Well, I'm the bold one. If it takes too long and the guy doesn't get off the pot, then I just ask him if he wants to meet for a cup of coffee sometime. If he says yes, but doesn't suggest a day and time, then I just blow him off. Too much of a waste and I don't play penpal for long.

If you're interested, I see no harm in suggesting a time to meet. Let him take it from there..

I would have not been happy with the confessions "very close friends with my ex g/f and I don't like to clean" ...but the other stuff seemed funny and genuine. Good luck!! LMAO about the "who is your kid" question!!

I agree, throwing out a couple possible days you're free isn't harmful, and your cell #.

I personally would toss out a bone and see if he takes it! In a not too much pressure way but in a way that he knows where you stand. I hate endless emails back and forth...I do not have the time or the desire for it! Good luck!

Jeez. He sounds cool and I like the sense of humor. I'd be the pursuer big time. Dont let this one slip away.

Hey Pac, the girlfriend thing is fine with me - explained like this:

I've been divorced for about 5 years apart 6. I am completely single--PROMISE. That's not to say I haven't had any relationships.

Totally agree I should pursue ONCE only thougth. I really DONT want to push OR nudge. But I think he could be a decent guy, possibly with a lot on his plate, shy, etc.

I think you should just tell him you aren't interested in a pen pal and don't like to waste too much time writing back and forth and leave it a t that.
