It's that time of year....
Do you have holiday parties lined up?
Do you have date? If not, would you go alone?
I have a work party scheduled for Friday Dec 14th.... "you and a guest"... the invitation says... Can't say that i have anyone in mind unless Alaska and I see each other regularly til then... Otherwise I'll be going alone.... I would if i knew that the other single people at work were going alone.. I'm thinking "you and a guest" is for those with spouses. Right?
When we got the invite I joked with my other coworkers.. "I have 4 weeks to narrow it down.. who should I bring..lol" But seriously, how does the girl who doesn't make plans... find a date for a Holiday Party.. kwim.

Hey Loony - how exciting you have a party. I would view "guest" as a husband, boyfriend, significant other, platonic date, friend, whatever. Probably the opposite sex for sure.
So if you have someone great and if not then maybe you will meet one, right?
What are you going to wear?
I don't have any holiday party plans - but that is because I basically work by myself out of my house. And now I am dedicated to a lot of exercise 7 days a week until April. My coach even has a killer workout for Thanksgiving. There is never a reason to take a day off unless you do a race - at least in his eyes. But I can live vicariously through you, right?
Keep us posted!!
I have one coming up on the 11th with SMEI.
Go alone and have a blast Loony! Don't stress about finding a date and then worrying about catering to them throughout the night because they don't know anyone but you etc.
Looney...go stag have a great time! See if another solo coworker will go too and hang with them. Dress to the hilt and have fun!!!
I had many holiday plans that are now, well, undecided. The plans WERE that I was going with Blue Eyes to his his company dinner dance on Dec 14. We had even talked about what we were going to wear, I had found him a beatiful new tie that complimented his eyes, and everything.
I kind of scrambling around today making alternate plans for Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner dance, and wondering about the ticket I have to go to Italy with him and his fam.
The holidays....Oy Vey.
