Congrats - sounds like GPSdude is really into you. His comment about you was really sweet.

I think I would be inclined to wait for meeting the little kids or telling the exh - let things settle in more because it is still new.

I assume you think the ex will find out because the kids will tell him? Or is it because you don't want to hide it? I would keep it hidden for as long as possible and I would urge the older ones to keep your life private for now. Just because a relationship is better if it gets time to settle in rather than having to deal with a lot of drama in the beginning. And the kids will probably have to endure confusion if they tell your exh or know he finds out by you exposing it and see his reaction - even though they don't want to be in the middle they might get put there.

Quiet and peace are a good thing!

If your ex asks if you are dating change the subject. I would probably even go so far as to deny it or say I had no idea what he is talking about.

I have always been a believer of MINIMAL personal info, maximal politeness.

"where were you, what were you doing?"

"I was out"

Simple.
