The kitchen is gorgeous - what a nice home. Your progress is impressive, given the closing/moving drama, short time frame and proximity to holidays!! Oh - and you are preggo, too!! Good work, girl!

I like Shane's chair and the big star - those give the place character, too.

Melissa!!!!! No WONDER you were so excited about this place. It's fabulous. I'd KILL for a kitchen like that! (ok maybe not kill. Maim though, for sure. ;) And I love the China hutch and the wood floors and the storage and plant shelves in the kitchen window.

I actually LOVE the green tile in the "ugly bathroom" so I personally would look forward to working around that. But does the paper in there actually have a pink background, or does it just look like that in the pic? If so, UGH, who would DO that???

Still looking for preggo pic's woman!

It just looks pink in the pic. It's a white background. So the bath is black, white and pistachio green. I personally don't mind the tiles so much. I grew up going to my Gran's house and her bath was all tiles of black and white. So it reminds me of her in a way.

I'd love to see pics of the original kitchen here. I wish I could find someone who has them. All the stuff has been changed and new appliances added. I think they eithe rmust be REALLY new appliances or the previous owners never cooked. They are stiff still. I'll break them in for sure!

I really adore the house. And I can't wait to have it all ready soon.

What's the square footage?? I'm so envious! Your kitchen looks the size of my entire house!

I think it's around 2050 sq ft. Not sure if that includes the garage or not. It's a big two car garage. 3 bedrooms, two baths, laundry/mud room combo and fenced backyard.
