Hi Gals, A question for those of you who have gone through a divorce, or separation, etc. I was wondering how you "knew" when you were ready to start dating again? I've heard that it is best to wait to start dating after a dv, and I'm curious to know your thoughts on the matter...

There is nothing wrong with lighthearted fun and casual dating. You sound like a perfect candidate for that. Your approach in your online profile was just perfect in my opinion.

But not all women are like you, Orange Clouds. I think it takes a lot to be able to manage your expectations, set boundaries and learn to be picky in the dating process.

It is good to have light-hearted fun for sure - and to enjoy companionship - but not if you have a lot of drama and prolong the healing you really need to do after a failed marriage.

Of course the school of hard knocks can be very effective!! LOL!! It worked for me!
