Ok, so how far is tooo far for anyone looking to date, dating or those that are in LTR now. I'm curious what is considered toooooooooo far and is just a no way.

The guy I kinda think is a cutie, is an hour away! That's far! It makes me keep wanting to stamp delete, but I haven't yet.

CK and I are about 45 minutes apart, if he is driving, 35 if I am driving.

I dated someone for a year who lived 90 minutes away... and while it didn't seem that far when it started, it really was too far. Never again will I date that far. Works for some people, but it doesn't for me. I just don't have the time to keep driving around so much (and with the gas prices now!! Sheesh) nor do I feel right about having someone else driving so much to see me. Thankfully Hiker lives only 5 minutes away. I could WALK to his house if I wanted to (a couple of miles) and it's great! But I think my limit right now might be about 20-30 minutes away. For my area, it would be like dating someone in the next closest city. But no farther than that.

CM lives about 22 miles from me, and some days it seems like it is an hour, but for the most part its fine.

Oh, and that distance thing is relative, I know. When I lived in a million-population city, driving 20 minutes to someplace was considered CLOSE. But where I live now- I can drive across the whole city in about 15 min. So my "range" is now MUCH shorter than it used to be.
