Sounds like a nice weekend, SweetK.. I like those laid back weekends, just time to spend with the SO and "hang out". BE used to worry I would be bored on those kinds of weekends but I actually enjoy them.

Friday night we went to a friends house and played games and watched a concert on DVD. Saturday morning we got up and went yard sale hopping. I also went shopping for what dd needed for camp.

We went dancing Saturday night and had blast. I had one too many drinks though. Let's just say Cranberry + pomegranite juice + Vodka = trouble remembering the night LOL. I do know we had fun except that his romantic plans to continue the"fun" when we got home was cut short by my promptly falling asleep on the couch the second I took my shoes off.

Sunday I was in no shape to do much but I managed to get dd all packed up and ready. I miss her already and its been 4 hours lol!

Sounds like a GREAT weekend LC! I'm sure you were mortified everytime the little one called GPS by DJ's name...OMG I would have died. But GPS handled that very well! He sounds secure and that is a good thing.

As for marriage...one day at a time for sure! It is sweet that he thinks long term. As long as the thought does not leave you running for the hills or breaking out in cold sweats then it's all good to think about, right?? No need to "go there" yet but still at least the man is committed!

Oh I just remembered the coolest thing that happened on my dancing night out. We were in the parking lot and his long term ex g/f was there (she always goes to see that band). She unrolled her car window and we all three chatted a bit. She asked BE if he would stop by her place sometime this week after work and fix her tv/stereo speakers. I thought that was kind of inappropriate and nervy. BE, without even hesitating looks over at me and says "hey, how would you like to see where M lives? (implying that he would only go if I go there too) and he said "Well we will see if we can make it by."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

I did almost absolutely nothing and it felt great. Just a little housework here and there, nothing too taxing. I did make some cookies for a friend of mine and took them over to her and her husband. They have been having a tough time lately and I haven't had a lot of time for them. So that made me feel good.

OMG Pacs!!! I would have been livid at that woman. I'm glad that BE handled it the way he did. He rocks!

LOL! I know... I wasn't livid only because she's totally harmless. As BE and all of his friends who have know her for years have said, she is a bit "quarky"...its the best way to describe her. Just a bit socially awkward yet really outgoing and says things that people just don't say. But she is nice, in her funny way. She's also the type to trip on her own feet. Silly, clumsy and a bit akward lol. But she still donates to BE's cancer foundation in his honor which is nice, and she keeps up with his family (daughters).

Broom hilda would have been a whole different story lol! I would have taken the gloves off!

Yeah you said it though... BE rocks ;o)
