We all have our ups and downs but this week really brought home something one of our local DJ's says every day "hug and kiss em babies".

How scary about the tornadoes! I'm glad everyone is okay though. We get tornadoes here too (TX panhandle) so when there are big storms out and about- I'm glued to the tv because there is no one here to watch after my kids (get them into the closet when it's "time" kind of thing) so I am VERY watchful.

It's also sad about kids having terminal illnesses... but it's sad no matter what age you are. It's just extra tragic when they're kids because they are so young still. ((((((((Hugs))))))))) about all that, too.

Yes, definitely hug those babies!!!!

I'm glad things are going well with GPSdude (what was the story behind his name again??)!

My daughter read a book forever ago and told me to read it--kept leaving it in my room or on the coffee table so that I would read it and I finally did this weekend--it is called "Drums, girls and dangerous pie"

It just makes you question why these things happen to children.

I know it all too well. I'm rather raw in this subject and I probably have not posted about it before because it has taken me close to 8 years to begin to feel normal and OK and trust that my DD is out of the woods medically speaking.

When she was three, her liver failed and was hospitalized. No one knew what was wrong. She was in line for emergent transplant but without the doctors knowing what caused it, putting a new liver in her would be
