I know what you mean, I get tons of first dates, but never a second date.....working on dating a guy now...I told him he could think all the men before him....because I wasn't rushing into anything anymore....I'm tired of feeling used and abused! Good Luck to you

I have to say i agree because I have been talking to this man and he did let me know in the beginnning that with his work he may not call back right then but he would get back with me. First to say we have been talking on and off for 2 months he flirted with me and came on to me and yes he's single and I'm single and I have for sometimes had a crush on him. So he ask for my # and email addr. well he gave me his email addr. first and I didn't ask for it. So we did call back and forth and it seem like I was doing all the calling and yes a person say they will get back, but as a female you know after 2 to 3 days

You're not alone (obvious by now!!). Glad to know that i'm not either. I've had a long distance 'relationship' with someone who I know from former workplace. We were never in the same workplace. I only saw him in meetings over video conference. We are 3000 miles apart (different states). Before I left the job about 6 months ago, I expressed an interest in staying in touch vie email. I was afraid to ask, but he said yes, he would like to stay in touch too (no romantic interest ever expressed at work). So we exchanged emails. After several weeks, he asked me to set up IM, get a web cam, etc. In a short period of time, we were really excited about each other. By the way, he is a single parent with a 12 yr old, very busy working father.

Ahh...i know how you feel. I recently read something...it has enlighted me and lifted a weight of my shoulders. Its called "He's just not that into you". Please read this. I'm sure you are an awesome woman! You deserve better than the men who wine you, dine you , and then ignore you. It's their way of letting you know that they aren't into you in the most cowardly way...which is okay, especially bc we have no control over what they do or how they do it....please read.
