Is he allergic or is he worried that another woman might smell it on him. That would be my first thought, too.

You know, that would make me wonder as well.

Have you asked if he's seeing anyone else?

He says I am the only one he is seeing but now...I seriously wonder! And the kicker is...he likes the way the stuff smells so much he did put some of it in the gift basket he bought me so this to me...is odd...and tosses up a red flag!

Maybe he's allergic to the smell?

Things that definitely make you go "Hmmmmmm?"

What are you going to do? Ask him about it?

This would not raise a red flag for me.

that would make me wonder too. Is it possible he works in a place that is against fragrances? Or Clients? This is a big deal around here in the area hospitals and large office buildings not to wear fragrance.

If not, ask? I know I would.

I wouldn't like that answer either. So what are you going to do? Go to lunch with no lotion or skip lunch today? HUGS!

Initially, it wouldn't raise a red flag. Although, maybe his second answer would. HOWEVER... before jumping off the deep end, think about this:

MEN! Have you thought that maybe other guys will smell it on him and think he's Feminine? Or make fun of him seeing his girlfriend and making leud comments? Or that maybe he's not supposed to be having lunch today with you and told someone that he was going someplace else? Or maybe he likes having his privacy and the smell would be telling?

Sooo many reasons! None of which would make me think "other" woman. UNLESS, your gut instinct is that he is seeing someone else. Any signs that make you think he is? Otherwise, I would just shrug it off as a guy thing.

I never used to wear perfume or lotion when seeing someone during work hours, because I felt I didn't want the man dating that I saw to smell like roses or perfume. Not a very good work enviroment for a manly man to show up smelling like flowers and perfume in front of a lot of other guys. LOL. That could result in "talk". LOL.
