That guy i posted about yesterday, that seemed like the 1st really good "fit" in a while, I got this from him today - he chatted a bit, then the dump, lol:

"So , I have been going back and forth about what my next steps should be here. I have no doubt in my mind that you are a great person and we would probably hit it off and could be great friends. There is just something that doesn’t feel right. I don’t know if it’s the online thing or what but I think I am gonna take a pass on the dating thing. As I mentioned earlier, you are the only person I have even been communicating with. It may also be a timing thing, on my end… I promise I wont send you shirtless photos of my torso(or other parts of my body) that I took with my cell phone in front of the mirror! I may kick myself later but this is where I am today….Just wanted to be honest. Best wishes to you."

I sent back a little chatter, then:

"Well, I'm sorry that you arent comfortable with meeting this way, but i understand you have to do what feels right

oh dear. Such is the online dating life.

I was thinking that if he is new to it and saw the other ads that are somewhat freaky he might have gotten cold feet. Or maybe his exgf just called.

I have 2 that are emailing me but I am not sure - one is agnostic and that just doesn't sit well with me. I think I am going to delete rather than write back. He is also too short and seems to want to travel a lot which makes it easy.

The other one sounds like a fun dad so we will see. He just wrote that he was glad I liked his pic but he just got back from taking his boy fishing and had to go and eat. I am not sure what to do with that - he made it sound like he wanted to see if I liked his pic but will write back later after he eats.

At the very least, the whole process is rather amusing and somewhat like homework where you look at the profiles and talk to them and go on a treasure hunt for red flags.

I think collectively we could all write a very neat book about dating and red flags!! LOL!!

These men never fail to amaze! I honestly had no idea they were so confusing...especially when you think everything is going so well!!

NEXT is quickly becoming my motto.

I think most of the time we just never know.
