I guess i've just always been a night person and that's why i have energy to go out.... lol... I feel young again, though... i never had this much fun in my 20s... As the saying goes.. Life does begin at 30.... that has been true for me.
And i hear gay male friends make the best friends... we did a special report on "A Gay Man's Guide to women and dating".... I have a couple fun gay friends at work.. They are a blast to hang out with...
I thought you were in your 20's? How old are you? LOL You look so fabulous! I always forget that you have all the children to keep you so youthful! :)
I am a night person, but I just can't seem to stay awake late anymore, because I am so tired now. I completely agree that my 30's are WAYYYYYYY BETTER then my 20's EVER were! I wish I could stick with this age. I adore being mid 30's. I think I am just going to keep telling myself I am not going to get older. I will stay with 35.
Tell me about the report! Can you send it to me? I would LOVE to read it!
I turned 35 yrs old in July... at first i was going to lie about my age... not sure if you remember my posts about it... i trained my ds8 to tell people I was 28... i calculated what year i graduated (or my birth year) if asked. I had it all planned out... For the first few months i wouldn't tell people my age. I'd smile and say guess... everyone guess way too young so i'd just say close enough...
But now that it's been a few months, i'm used to being 35 and wouldn't trade it. And another plus since being on this board ... is that i've learned how to tell people/guys that i have children. It isn't an issue for me anymore... usually, i turn around and say YES i have 5 children and i look this good. lol.
About the report.. we ran that story in July so i don't think we still have it... But the gist of the story is that Gay men make great girl pals because you can share stories... check out guys together.. they know how guys think... they have emotions like us girls... AND the big plus is you don't fight over or pursue the same guy.... and many other great qualities. My goofy gay pal at work is one of my best friends. We are both goofy and laugh a lot when we go to a coworker party together. He's great.
That is most humorous. I am sure you will bring us some great stories. When I was in the hotel business I had plenty of gay friends. I always enjoyed their company and stories.
This sounds good for you - it is great to get out of the house and maybe you will get to meet some more people in the process, too.
