Thanks for the post. This is something that I have been toying with for about a year now so thanks to your post I called an agent and hes drawing up some papers for me to look at. He started getting really deep into wills, living wills, power of atty stuff which kind of made my head spin. Since i dont have any assets to speak of only debt incurred from CP I think im ok with that end of stuff until i get a policy in place. After the policy is in place ill contact my atty and have him draw up a will and trust papers for the policy. I beleive i have a living will on file somewhere??? My big issue is who would care for my DD. I asked the attyif i could give guardianship to her godparents because CP isnt fit to take care of her in case of anything and he said without sole custody is pretty much impossible. CP would have to agree to them getting custody which would never happen. But at least I know that her education would be covered and then some if need be.

thats my biggest concern too, which is one of the reasons I procrastinated on the whole issue. and now I am older I pay more than I would have too.

I am glad to hear I inspired someone else to get on top of this.
