Okay - the one on eharmony didn't join the other 128 unlucky candidates. He is nice - we completed the eharmony process this morning and then got to communicate by email and phone and he wants to meet me for a glass of wine.

He is a triathlete and single dad and loves to ride a bike and hike. Has his own business.

How in the world did you guys write so many messages on here today - I have so much to do plus a run plus have to get ready. I will have to write back to everything later. LOL!!!

Thanks you guys!! This is so much fun to come back and post the story!!

Okay. I had NO idea I would have a date today. None. What a crazy day. The guy was here to talk to me about the landscaping. The huge delivery that showed up damaged a few weeks back showed up in one piece. The dogs ran mud through the house at least twice(CAT! Are you listening about this dog trick - they wait til you are getting ready for a date and deliver maximum nonsense!). My exh calls to say he is switching days and wants DS tonight - so I said oh wow - DS will love that why don't you surprise him by picking him up at school!! (LOL!!) Then I pick out an outfit with my friend and horrors - at the last minute I have to change it because it gets cold outside. Can we spell TIZZY!! Like holy cow it is Monday.

And out of 152 matches on eharmony that I trashed (including the exh!) this one gets through all of the tests and lengthy eharmony communication and wants to meet for wine. Okay. I mean he is hot girls!! And fun and funny. And although he went to college and was a broker on WSJ and now has his own business he did do a stint racing bikes and triathlons for a big bike company in his younger days. He loves biking, hiking and mountain climbing and staying in shape. So, he is athletic. He has a son who is 7-1/2 - he gets him every other weekend and on Wednesdays. Would love to see him more. Even called him at dinner - I liked that a lot.

So we are supposed to meet for wine. He gave up his workout so we could have more time. And then he called and said don't eat dinner because I would love to treat you and I am starved.

Okay - so we meet at this big casino complex - it is half way and very nice. Has a lot of neat shops and nightclubs and restaurants. You don't even notice the casino if you don't want. Neither one of us gambles. And we both only have one drink. Yes yes - I know some would drink more - but you know this is my nutty thing and it is good we are on the same page with that. He picked a nice Asian style upscale restaurant and the food and service were good.

We talked and talked - all good. Had a great evening. And then he walked me to my car. And we were both so nervous. But I was good - no crazy kisses - although I could have been tempted. I am basking in SLOW right now. We exchanged a hug and a nice kiss and he asked me if I wanted to go out again and so I said yes.

And that is it - here I am. Home alone - and letting the dogs have a sleepover with me instead of putting them in their box. I got a text from him asking if I got home okay and I said Yes - thanks!
