I might have a date

Okay - the one on eharmony didn't join the other 128 unlucky candidates. He is nice - we completed the eharmony process this morning and then got to communicate by email and phone and he wants to meet me for a glass of wine.
He is a triathlete and single dad and loves to ride a bike and hike. Has his own business.
How in the world did you guys write so many messages on here today - I have so much to do plus a run plus have to get ready. I will have to write back to everything later. LOL!!!

I think I will answer yes - but for next week - I really want to stay dating and not jump into another relationship - especially after Hurricane MA. And I think the best way to do that is not to be too available. And I do have plans for this weekend.
I know he sees his son every other weekend. So I should be safe from the next one as well - LOL!!!!!
There are no other prospects on the horizon from eharmony - but the alumni group wants to get together on Friday.
Pacific, That is a great point. Sometimes people just throw in things there ..heck may be to compare the answer he got previously for the same qn from a failed relationship..lol..
I think more than just the answer sometimes most people ( even me) would like to see "how" you responded. As in
All sounds good so far and taking it super slow is a good idea. But you don't have to share EVERY interest and since when is skiing an extreme sport? I ski and I'm an old lady. M and I don't do everything together- he's an avid golfer, I don't golf at all. I love opera, he's rarely available the weekends of the performances so I mostly do that with other friends. The triathalon connection is very good since you both would spend a lot of time on the training.
Good luck with this one, best wishes that it will work out to be the guy who meets all the checklist items.

He hikes up like 9K or 10K feet with the skis and goes down - or does helicopter skiing - with Warren Miller - although says he is not going that crazy again.
I guess the reason it all spooked me is because in eharmony you indicate what passions you would want to share - and he indicated he wanted to share it. But there are a lot of other things we can do - and as I said last night - you can have a lot of fun with that - it is only one day without me and I can look pretty at the bottom!! He knows I don't like heights or edges - but I sensed he would want me to try it once.
Little does he know I sat down on the 8th step of Chichinizza (pyramid in Mexico) because I didn't want to go higher!! LOL!!
He also never asked if I skied. If truth be told I don't want to because I would not even want to get on the lift or try to learn that this late in life - but would love cross country skiing or a myriad of other activities in that sort of venue. I have a kid and business to run and there are no ski slopes here - that is something he can take his son to.
He doesn't do the triathlons anymore - but I don't care about that - I want someone who wants to be fit and who appreciates someone else who does. It is really a lifestyle thing - you are up early to exercise and don't drink a lot and go to bed early - we both have that -so that part is good!

LMAO about the pyramid at Chichinitza!
I went skiing once and I was afraid more of the lift than anything else--I was afraid I was not going to be able to jump off and would "get stuck"--I was with a friend though and I just jumped off when he did...I did not have fun because I was with a bunch of experienced skiers who left me by myself on the beginners hill!
April
Wow - at least you got to the top!!
When did you go? I went in the summer and it was KILLER hot!!
