Hi everyone new to this board. I just want some advice, I've been seperated now for a year and 5 months. I'm sick of being alone, even when I was married I was alone he slept on the couch and I in the bed. Anyway's I WANT TO SPOON!!!!!! I'm just lonely. my friends tell me to go on line, I'm like ya no thank you. I don't want to meet a freak or some pervert. I just want some one to be understanding that I do have three young girls, and they come first. Should I date some one with kids or with out? I alway's joke with my girl friends and say I want a marine who is 6' great build dark hair (when grown in lol), why a marine who know's. I guess it's all the romance books I'm reading about big strong men. Not that they have to be in the marine's, just thought I'd go in new direction. Anyway's I'm 33 and lonely and board. Any advice let me know.

That sounds great Kim! YAY ON THE BOARD GAME PLAYER!!!! You sound like a great match for each other. So nice to have so many things in common. Very very good. And yes, better late than never.

Games. That's a big deal to me too. I LOVE it that Jas will play cards for hours when we get together with friends, and Cranium with my family and Sorry and such with Tyler and I. And Uno! I love games.

Hi Kim
that's great that you found someone like that. I also love board games and so do my kids. In the beginning of our relationship, James and I would spend hours playing boggle. even without the kids. ;) We're just wild people! haha.

I hope it continues to go well!

Just wanted to say welcome!
I started to post to you earlier in the day but then one of the IT guys had to do something to my computer and I had to get off line.

I don't think there's a woman here who hasn't experienced that loneliness you're describing at some point. I honestly don't think loneliness is a reason to date though. I think if you go into it with that state of mind, you're more libel to meet someone who isn't good for you and get yourself caught up in having someone around to give you some of what you desire without getting all of what you desire.

Not to minimize your need to spoon, cuz I certainly understand that, buy yourself one of those big body pillows. Trust me, it helps!!!!! And they don't snore! ;)

Like someone said, go out with your friends and do things for fun. Don't go find a guy just to have someone in your bed for comfort. Wait until you're ready for the whole package.

Hugs
Tara
