Here are mine, please share yours:

Entertainment Lawyer - Next I can't take the effimanite voice

Widower - I haven't heard from him since his vm last Thursday. I sent a brief email this evening so it is do or die on this one. (too bad as he was the most promising on paper)

Marathon runner - open communication. I love the way he writes and he is writing me while on vacation. He has shared his personality profile which is very positive. He is worth a meet although I will have to hear his voice first (see above)

Graduate - he just graduated from grad school. I winked at him a month ago and he finally winked back this past weekend put since then he has been moving quickly. He is cute and nice profile; we just exchanged 2nd questions. We will see where this goes.

A friend of mine joined on Saturday and already has a date to meet two men. I have been on this over a month (closer to six weeks I think) and have yet to meet a single guy. Geesh!! I hope I can meet at least one guy before my subscription is up. Also, I have not gotten a match in the last few days. Prior to this I was getting 1-4 matches a day.

I am really trying to be patience and will admit that the quality so far out ways the quantity but come on something please!

Outside of EH, I have gotten the word out that I am available. I don't know of anyone who has friends in my age range but I will try what it takes.

Oh how funny - so you had to go - but yes that is good practice and you had a lot of good things come out of it even though no chemistry/romantic partner! I can understand how a list + vegan + weird spirituality would just put you off - I would feel the same way - even if there was one of those never mind all three of those. It is a shame for him since he is thought of well in the community and his career plus he is attractive - but I am sure he will find the right person.

At least you had a date with a quality person who is relationship minded. After many I have seen online I know you could do a lot worse.

What did you wear? What did you eat? What did you guys talk about! We love details - hehehe!

Keep us posted!

Thanks for all the kind words, ladies! That picture is priceless to me. I have another photo of us together, but it was taken about a month before she passed, and while I treasure that one too... the one of us at my cousin's wedding showed her while she was feeling well. And it really shows how much we look alike. I really look like she did when she was still my age. The chemo REALLY aged her alot.

Soonee- that web site is brand-spanking new. They just "launched" it this week. The major tv networks are working up to some event on tv Sept. 5th for fundraising for cancer research. I might go in and do a Stand or Star

Details... I wore a typical work outfit, a silk black and white paisley skirt with a hot pink band around the bottom and a black twin set (cardigan) and oversized black pearl necklace. Funny, my hair was up in a knot because I did not have much time to get ready this morning thinks to DS and my makeup was minimal (a little powder and mascara But hey I didn't care). He wore a sports jacket with a nice shirt and slacks. He has beautiful dark brown eyes that the pics did not do justice. There is something with his jaw when he talks which I guess is where the lisp comes from but I wasn't going to ask if he had an injury or something.

We were both about 10-15 minutes late but he called to let me know. He left a meeting late and I got stuck in a construction zone. We talked about family, we both grew up around here, our children, work and what we do for fun. We both like dancing, pilates and yoga.

He asked some pretty personal questions about my ex which caught me off guard but I was open and honest. He lives in Charlotesville where he has about 20 acres in Afton (which is a beautiful place for those not famililar) and he has a home here in Richmond. He has his own practice with offices in both locals. He works with musicians, film makers, publishers, etc... mostly on the corporate side but also individuals. His business is very busy and potentially expanding. He has a seven year old daughter and a rocky but cordial relationship with his ex. He lives in Afton to be near his daughter but most of his clients are here.

And just for the record I don't actually sell new service(I manage the high end existing clients) so if he is interested, I would refer him to a sales rep. So no real conflict of interest there. I just thought it was funny! :)

I will say it is good that the first one wasn't scary because I know me and I would probably be spooked from the whole thing and just give up.

I vote for marathon. Runners are great people! Plus he must be in shape to run a marathon.

Dont write off guys too quick. You could be missing out on something wonderful. If his voice is a little high take a few weeks or so to try to get used to it.
