Congratulations - and yes - we LOVE bragging, details and all good news!! This is the way it should be. You have worked hard and you deserve every second of this. It is so impressive that his children are so nice, he is a great dad, he treats you nice AND he gave a necklace to your DD!!!!

Jennie,

I you don't mind, would you please give us all a recap of your romance? Like what did you think when you first saw his profile - what did he write to you? Was it all just average? Or was it like WOW? How was the first date? How did you get so connected and feel like it was so right? Was it just one moment or just a string of all the right things slowly?

DETAILS!

I'm glad you're happy, reading about other single moms finding someone, and being happy, it just keeps my hope up....

I am very happy for you! It's so refreshing to hear that there are decent men out there and relationships that are working out. Don't feel guilty about posting when things ARE going right!
I hope things continue to work out!

Well he winked at me on match, and I read his profile.

This is all very good indeed and I love everything you write - it all feels "right" and is all going in a great direction.

What are the things in his profile that matched yours? What are the things he wrote that you could have written that made his profile stand out to you?

Your story is so refreshing to all of us.

The things that matched up for us were: professional, financially secure, family oriented (we both have children and both want more) an optimist, don't sweat the small stuff, want a relationship based on mutual love, trust and respect, he said he wants to show his children what a committed relationship should be, he said he was looking for someone to enjoy the good times and to rise to the challenges with, and to be able to look back at the end happily, noting

I'm so happy for you, Jenny. It is a wonderful feeling to have a real "match" with someone, after living the opposite your entire adult life. I am also living the perfect dream, and look forward to every day with my boyfriend and his daughter. Congrats to you and your "new family".
