I'M DONE!!!!!

I'm so completely furious at my exh and his family! My dd came home tonight with a horrible dog bite on her hand. They would not tell me when the dog bit her, but they said she okay. Well...nope...I had Dave look at it and he said it was terribly infected. Not only that, but with any dog bite a child should be put on oral antibiotics. So now I have to take her to her new doctor tomorrow and have him look at it, give her meds and a cream. I've taken pictures of it and documented it as well. But, I'm having all of her records sent to my lawyer tomorrow. I don't know what will come of it, but I know these people are not watching her when she is in their care. Every time she goes with them she comes back hurt, and I'm sick of it. To top it off, my exh isn't even there when she's on her visits. So basically it's his dad and step-mom that are "watching" dd. This is retarded and I'm furious! My poor baby's hand is so swollen and she can barely move her thumb (where the dog bit her). I've put some cream on it already (Dave gave me some) and given her some tylenol, which I hope is helping. AAAGGGGGHHHHH! To me, this is neglect! How can they be like this? It's like they don't even care about her or her well being! Please, just keep us, especially dd, in your thoughts and prayers!

I am sorry you and dd have to go through this. Get ahold of the lawyer on Monday and keep documenting and seeing what you can do to have the visitation reduced or supervised. A dog bite is one thing but left unattended is distinctly another.

And do everything you can to have that dog put to sleep. A dog that bites children is not safe and this will make a stand to his family that you have NO tolerance for dd being subjected to neglect like this.

Good luck, Kaitlyn. You have come so far with handling your ex and dealing with all of this - I know you have and will find the strength now.

To top it all off, I just found out that my exh didn't even see our dd this weekend. He left on Thursday to go to Oklahoma for a vacation!!!! Okay...why did we go to court and get a visitation schedule??? He's not watching her, he's leaving her with A) his step-mom and/or B) his step-brother's girlfriend! Come to find out, he's NEVER around when she goes on her visitation! AAAGGGHHH!!! Needless to say, I've already talked to my lawyer twice today. DD's medical records will be on his desk tomorrow morning! I'm done playing around with this guy! He's supposed to have her, watch her, and spend time with her on his days and he's not doing any of that!

I can't stand him!

I'm based in the UK so don't know al your laws but can you not just go to the police and your version of child protection and ask fo rthe visits to be stopped. here in the Uk this is enough eveidence for a child to be taken into care or visitation stopped there and then until social services have checked exactly what provision is made for visitation
