I'm an Idiot

Last night while making love with EMT I open my big better left shut mouth and tell him that I love him. I get nothing back. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Oh except on the way home in the pouring rain I get pulled over for speeding. The ironic thing is for the 6 years I have lived in New England I have had someone on my butt every time I drive because I refuse to speeed. I guess the police figure that anyone out driving in the pouring rain at 1am is drunk and I dont even drink. But fortunately for me his partner pulls someone else over who is not acting normal and he needs to leave before he has a chance to ticket me. I guess there is something to be said for acting normal. It saved me a speeding ticket.

So I feel like an A$$ right now. I dont do drugs or drink. I run so as soon as the kids are off to school my running shoes and ipod are coming out and I am going to run as far as my legs will carry me with the Chili Peppers blaring in my ears.

((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))

Did you mean it or was it just a slip because you were enjoying yourself? how long have you all been seeing each other, again? I can relate to how awful it feels to say it and not how someone say it back... but i hope you don't feel like an idiot. Love is a choice. I'm afraid of it myself these days but think of it as a free gift. Like Pac is always telling me, you are following your heart and revealing a vulnerable side. Whether he's at that point right now with you or not yet.... he will still (on so many levels) cherish and be blessed by your words. No matter what his reaction, you are still you.

much love,

I know it sounds childish, but I NEVER say I love you first. I once made a BIG mistake in doing so and got nothing back. Now I just let the guy say it and if he doesn't say it within the first 6 months, then I've learned to move on.
I want someone to open up their feelings to me, I don't want to be with someone that feels he has to clam up because he's to manly to tell me his real feelings. If he doesn't tell me, then I figure he isn't and then it's Adios.

Well, on a lighter and hopefully more humerous note, remember that a lot of guys are more, um, focused on the physical part during the deed, so your wards may have not sunk in anyway.

But that aside, I still see nothing wrong wuth saying what you feel. Its who you are and its what you were feeling!
