But old enough to choose to be, right? lol
Ok, since Carlos & I ended? A week ago ... I have slept with "Lawn Boy" twice.

May I ask why you don't think the lawnboy is a match? You see, at first I imagined a young boy toy - since most of the lawn guys around here are in their teens and 20s. I said - wow - he must be a hot young stud.
But then when you described him in another thread (and I love how all the nurses you work with dubbed him that - you all must have so much fun with your stories!) I wondered why he is not a prospect - because he sounds mature and nice.
I could see going to dinner to get out of the house - but 49 yo bachelor that bored you the first time just doesn't sound all that great to me. I think I would rather have a retail therapy evening (shopping!).
But whatever you want to do - you did do good to boot Carlos out - so now is your time to get out and have a little fun.
And maybe I am being selfish because your stories are so entertaining?
OH - and one more thing - your friend that helped you realize what a dud your exh was - she did good and gave you good advice!!
Also - I was impressed that you figured out such a good way to keep your house!!
You go girl!
Woohoo. You aren't a slut. You're liberated, and an adult, which makes all the difference in the world. You're honest, you're fun and funny, you're beautiful, smart, a wonderful mother, you're many things, but not a slut.
Now, for Lawn Boy. Go, R!! Have fun with him, he'll have fun with you, and that's great.
BoringGuy deserves a second chance, if only to redeem himself with a dinner. That isn't bad, a girl's gotta eat, and you know what- that's exactly how I felt when meeting Spec. We've been communicating every day since dinner, and have obviously had fun together. Even if you don't hit it off quite so well with BoringGuy, enjoy your food. That was my major game plan going in to meet Spec- to enjoy my food.
PilotDude also deserves another look, although I'd be wary if he's not able to stick to any other plans. People are busy, but come on! That's why they make all those little gadgets- people have the ability to make plans for a reason!
Moody, cheering you on

You go! I love your honesty -- I think it's great you can express it! I would do the same exact thing as you. I love the part about having handyman services. And go out to dinner again with the Mr. Boring. You never know...he might suddenly seem interesting after a couple glasses of good wine. He might even start looking good too.
Also, don't rule out the pilot guy because I have a pilot sweetie and he has taken me to places like Venice and Paris, and I just returned from Nice a couple days ago.
Life is a blank canvas for you right now. Take advantage of it, create some fun memories, and enjoy yourself! That's what I'm doing.

lol- yes, the nurses at work love to live vicarioulsy through my dating stories, sex life & new love of vibrators, lol. Most of them are in their late 40's, early 50's & have been married for 20 yrs - they are like big sisters to me.
Yey! Thanks for the persmission to carry on!!! lol
Boring guy - its weird, On the phone, he is fine. We talked today & made a date for Tues nite at that restaraunt. BUT, i may end up having to cancel b/c i just lost my nanny last minute, today - she willbe gone as of thsi weekend. In the long run its better, she hasnt worked out quite like i had planned, but it did throw a wrench into all my plans!
Pilot guy, really its more me than him.
roflmao about the couple glasses of wine ... it ALWAYS helps!
Well, like you, I was married to a real class jerk (who continues to be), and as far as I'm concerned we deserve to have happiness and find men who know how to treat ladies. Just don't look for any guys in the Denver area on Match because I don't want to see you end up with my STBX!
Also, enjoy the fine dining. I have never eaten so good in my life and have enjoyed the finest dining experiences I have ever had in my life!!! ;)
Have a great weekend.
Belinda
Oh my! I was going to say give BoringGuy a chance until you mentioned the 49-yr-old bachelor thing.
You need to make some time for the Pilot. I'd give him a coffee date if I were you.
