Thanks, I'm just throwing myself a HUGE pity on me party. Playing the victim AGAIN and crying at my desk all day! OH YAY! Not TO mention, I started today, so I am really having a hard time.

I have a chemical imbalance with my hormones that absolutely make me fall of my rocker RIGHT before my period and during. BUT right before it, I sabatoge everything because I am so highly sensitive. DARN

I have a list of things i need to start doing and just get back in the saddle.

You can do it, Cat! Amen to the hormones screwing with perceptions and emotions . BTDT, like, every month! Just remember what City wrote as her mantra - Let go or get dragged. I'm taking that one on as my saying too. Who wants to let all the useless battles weigh us down. As single moms we got too much else to focus on!

Jesus it is like we were separated at birth. I am very sensitive and panicky the week before also. Kind of enough to want to give out a calendar and tell people to mark those weeks yellow and tread carefully :)
I hear extra vitamin b helps during those times as well as extra sleep and cutting out stimulants and depressants like coffee or wine so that you dont exacerbate things. I dont always practice what I preach though and I end up causing fights and problems because I have a fit and fall in it.
Really sorry you are having such a rough day. I am sure tomorrow will be better Cat. Today is just PART of the process of moving on and I know you know that. These last few weeks have just been a huge toll on you in every way.

I am the same way before and during my period. And that is when I told off the guy that didn't call for 2 weeks.

I hear ya but apparently they just serve to make you even more irritated or depressed/panicked and this effects you even more. YOu know what I mean.
I cant drink wine but I HATE the idea of no coffee. I admit, I do green tea instead the few days before when I start noticing I am feeling cranky. I have a good green tea mixed with mint that relaxes me and I that tends to be my issue - that I get antsy and irritated about everything.
Exercise has helped me in the past too. Maybe I will start doing that again during those time now that I have started my antiaging campaign with myself.

First of all, due to my own pitiful drama this week, i forgot to welcome you to the board Staci. I'm usually not such a mess. I just allowed someone to drive me a little insane. Mark always talks about being in control of the car and I basically crashed. So forgive me.

We were totally separated at birth! I too can't go without coffee. I try my best to be ok with everything, but that is just too much.

I had to get back on birth control pills to ease my PMS. (it sure wasn't for my sex life, since that was becoming a distant memory) The older I got the worse it became. I also go through 2 pill packs before I have my cycle. That way I don't have to go off of the deep end every 4 weeks. Just every 6 weeks...
