Thanks for the invite Liz. Fer sure if I'm ever down in the Orange State I'll look you up. I thought you moved to Long Island though?
My Friday night is usually my night with my children, now my daughter since my son moved down to school for his first year at University. My daughter requested to stay Saturday night instead so I spent last night on my own.
I worked out extra long, shopped for food, made dinner, walked my dog to the video store, drank a half of bottle of wine, and rented a chick flick "Broken English" where Parker Posey plays a 30 something single woman looking for love.
I also called this woman I met once last month through a local weekly personal ad where we agreed that we'd be friends. We are going to meet at the farmer's market this morning.
Good for you for putting yourself out there to meet and talk with the bartender Liz.
LOL, I agree that we would have a blast! I usually go to Florida every year, but being unemployed put a stop to that, but who knows next year, I'll look you up.
Good for you for getting out there, it's hard, but soon the tide may turn for you. As you can see by all the postings, we are also in similar situations, so take comfort that you are not alone.
