Incredible day in court!

FINALLY - someone has listened. Its been an incredibly emotionally greuling road, but finally, the courts have recognized the issues in my domestic case. This will be long, I apologize ahead of time.

I went to court today, for the RO hearing, armed with the 2 voice mails, extremely abusive in nature, threatening & swearing, telling me he quit his job because his pay was garnished for child support. Also had transcripts of the past 6 months or so of any abusive texts messages & print outs of emails. & lastly, printouts of the whole Face Book fiasco where he posted to me publicly that I “looked like a fat pig” & accompanying all that, were the copies of the postings he sent to my freinds FaceBook pages (whom he didnt know), 15 of them, & the degrading comments he made about me to them, as well as comments to them personally such as “your baby is ugly”, “you’re a fag”, & lots of expletives.

What I expected to be a fast RO granted or not granted (based on past judge experience), this new female judge lived up to her reputation of being extremely tough on men who were abusive. She just took over the bench on Sept 1. To put it in perspective, in 3.5 yrs of the past judge, I have had THIRTEEN court dates, NONE of which was I ever allowed to testify, nor did we ever even see a judge - & he refused to look at any documentation I provided on the issues.

WHEW!!! I just got through all that!

Excellent job new judge!!! YAY!!!!

Hopefully Taz will internalize SOMETHING the judge said and change his ways, but the likelihood is so low...

Good luck!

I really admire your courage, tenacity, and focus on dealing with TAZ. I think that takes a LOT of emotional fortitude and strength. I am glad to hear that it is finally paying off for you and Ave.

God bless the Judge! We need so many more like her in the js. It's just so incredible sad that you had to go through all you have to get some type of help. I will pray for you that everything in the end will work for you and Avery.

Wow! Finally! About damn time!

Outstanding. that is the best news you had had on that front in a very long time. I am so glad you finally got a judge who gets it and did the right thing.

I am very happy for you. I know how it feels to finally get a judge who listens and validates everything you have said and been through.

You have had incredible patients with Taz and the system and now you finally are getting things to go right for you. Just outstanding.
