I closed out someone on eharmony a month go who was a great guy and now he is in one of my meetup groups on meetups.com.

I closed out someone on eharmony a month go who was a great guy and now he is in one of my meetup groups on meetups.com.
How I would handle it?

I agree with Soonee... just bump into him and meet him at the meetup if it happens. And act like it's the first-ever contact and don't bring up eHarmony! If he does, then you could explain being busy- but otherwise, you don't owe him any explanation. Just start fresh at the meetup if it happens! I wouldn't even try to seek him out unless you are totally curious or think that there's a chance. There could be someone ELSE at the meet-ups that fit you better! You never know- so if you see him there, you see him. If you meet, you meet. But otherwise...

I couldn't agree more - Soonee typed it just as I would. I would pretend it never happened and act like you have no idea who he is - but strike up conversation as though you just met him and want to learn more. After all - we go through so many matches, and are busy, who can ever keep them straight!
