...to screw in a lightbulb. He just holds it up there and waits for the world to evolve around him.

I apologize in advance to Mark for this post. You're one of a handful of men who have evolved beyond beer, sports, and bragging. You know that I am generalizing here...but I am just venting and if I man bash, I'm not including you, friend.

I'm not sure about my mom. She seemed OK- but she might be holding things in. I feel badly. I wish I could be up there while dad takes his "hiatus".

I don't know what the He@@ got into ex for saying that to DD. Yes- she told me last night when she went to bad. She was crying and afraid that if I talk to him he'll get real mad at her for "telling" on him. Well you know what- he'll just have to deal with it because he's gonna get an earful from me. I give him ONE night with her and this is what happens?

Can I just send all

I never felt comfortable with the stereotypical man behavior and that was why I had struggled with issues of belonging (it did not help that I am a minority as well).

What helped me understand guys was from a book written by a lesbian LOL.

Well, I just got off the phone with foul mouth ex.

I said in no uncertain terms that if I ever fin out he says anything like that to her again he will find himself in court fighting for the right to even see her. Boy did he pick the wrong day to mess up like that.

My mom just left me a voice mail so I'll call her back and see if she is OK.

I think I'll take her and DD

That is good you put your exh in his place! And also that you will help your mom. On one hand it is bad that you are dealing with all of that - but good to stay busy so you are not upset over BE!!

Keep us posted!
