Yes, yes, I know. I don't want to get cocky! ;) And there are probably more Colts fans here then Pats fans. We're like the ugly stepchild of the NFL or something, it's so weird. haha.
Look for me on T.V. I'll be near the Patriots Sideline on the same side as the big tower and we're going to have professionally made signs (courtesy of our graphics dept) that say "NOt in our House" so we're hoping to get on t.v. :) T
Sorry Catherine. Playoff games. ;) There's the divisional playoffs and then the championships in each division and then the Superbowl. (assuming you're not a big football fan since you probably can't watch NFL over there).
My team (New England Patriots) is playing Becky and her hubby's favorite (Indianapolis Colts) this Sunday.
My goal for the weekend is to not spend any money! Except for groceries, and I have a tight budget for that this week. I have been trying to cook so I go online and print off some recipes that look good, get the stuff and have dd help me make it. I told her I wasn’t very good at cooking so now while we’re preparing and mixing, I'll tell her she's doing a great job and she says, “You’re not very good at this but I am.” LOL.
Saturday dd and I will go to the library. We go every other weekend she is with me and get 10 books. She can keep them for 3 weeks so she has them the week she's with me and then she goes to her dads for a week, comes back and we return them at the end of the third week. I have only forgotten to return them once and I am very proud of that. Last summer I was going through some things in my mom's basement and found an unreturned library book from when I was in elementary school. So the library, grocery store and then we will spend the rest of Saturday playing games or watching movies. I think it's supposed to be cold and rainy.
Sunday dd has a birthday party. It's a princess-dress-up tea party. She is going to be so thrilled becuase she believes that inside she is a princess. The family is our former neighbor and last time I was there it was a little awkward (they moved away before our divorce). My idea was that my ex would keep being friends with this couple and I'd keep our friends from childbirth class. But events like birthdays and kids holiday parties keep falling on the other person's week and there is no reason I can't take her to the party (he took dd to a halloween party at our other couple friends house and that went fine). Last time I was at their house (about 9 months ago) I felt a little awkward, but I am not sure if they felt it or if it was just me. So we'll see how it goes. I am sure dd will have a blast.
That's cute that your little girl is jumping in...and good for her to get some self confidence going there. LOL
Next weekend will be my "money diet" weekend I guess, the weekend before payday usually is. I've been working hard at getting everything paid on time or ahead, so I have to pay attention to what is in the account. I spent some money today, but it'll be "keep the purse zipped" the rest of the week. :)

Thanks Lori!
At least you'll be toasty warm, right?
But I survived last year's 30 below, so I can survive the balmy teens. ;)

Ooooh, FUN! I'll be watching for you
What will you be wearing? A hat or anything that I can watch for?
