Going to a wedding tonight - got a red floor-length spaghetti-strap dress and everything! (I do have a nice cashmere wrap to wear in church ; )
Saturday - take parents to the airport after a month-long visit (!); meet a guy for coffee (he wants to be more than friends but I don't); go to my Argentine tango class in the evening (according to my teacher, a cute guy from the advanced level was asking about me, so wish me luck : )
Sunday - sleep in; meet another guy for coffee (first date); Swing dance class in the evening.
Monday - took a day off since both school and the Y are closed for MLK. Might take the kids ice-skating.
red, woo hoo! Sounds pretty. I love having an excuse to dress up. The last one was our Christmas work dinner. I wore a green silky shirt that I had been DYING to wear, but it's really dressy. I wore it with black velvet pants and cami.
That's a great idea for Monday. My dd and I haven't tried roller stating or ice skating since last year, and she's bound to be more coordinated now than she was then.
I have a burgundy velour halter dress (swirly ruffle bottom) and matching short jacket that I've been trying to wear somewhere. I fell in love with it and thought, "I'll wear it SOMEtime"
I know exactly what you mean! And I've wanted a red dress for a long time, so when I saw this one, and it fit, and the price fit, I just grabbed it. Sure, I don't have many occasions to wear a floor-length gown, but when one presents itself, I have just the right one! : ) And perfectly matching red satin shoes to go with it! (which is no small thing, seeing that I wear size 5)
I have lived in Scottsdale (5 years) and in Tucson (6 years). I miss it - it was a beautiful place and I have many fond memories. I loved to go camping and hiking in the mountains and when I was in Tucson I had a horse - did a lot of trail riding.

Tango class hmmm? That does sound fun!
Yeah, I haven't had a chance to wear this dress yet, and it's an 8 pm semi-formal wedding, so I thought it would be appropriate.
Tango is tons of fun, VERY sexy. I'll need to think of a fitting outfit (pun intended) in light of my teacher's revelation ; )
Here's to a great weekend, everyone!

It's in Munds Park, just south of Flagstaff.
