Hey girls, it's Thursday!! What is going on that is good? Other than that means it is almost Friday? Okay and so I am posting this on Wednesday night - just in case I get too busy to come on tomorrow or I forget.

I have some good stuff cooking. Got the bike back from the store yesterday and set out for my maiden voyage post crash and did good - love the bike. Picked my favorite park and smiled at the SWAT team while they were working out and I was riding .

MtEverest sent a text message this morning. He is busy the rest of the week with his son and his trip and that is fine. There is another one writing on eharmony - but he likes to write and have a pen pal I guess. He was talking about Sequoia trees in his last post. I even bumped into my old coach - the one I had the crush on forever - and we had a fun chat.

I booked a trip in March to do a training camp with all of my friends. And found a way to get the flight and car for free. I am really committed for the next 2.5 months to TRAIN like I have never trained before. I want this race!

Aha - and I had a good hard run tonight - my legs are tired. My son thought I was hilarious in the kitchen - I guess I was hungry - made a lot of good stuff - broccoli, mac and cheese (healthy), baked potato, caesar salad and tuna. Then we had banana sundaes.

Now we are working on a project that involves earth worms for a science fair project. it sounds very fun - except when I saw the picture of them - I screamed. But we can keep them outside. Will have to work on buying all the stuff this weekend.

CHEERS!

Wow - this is progress. Putting on a new roof sounds very scary - good luck with that process.

Sounds like you solved the education situation pretty well. How great that your DD is reading so well and has overcome her dyslexia. That speaks volumes for your dedication!!

And how great that you will get out of the house more - I think teaching dance is very good!

You GLOW?! oh yeah!! So kewl that he made such an effort to look nice, drive that distance to have lunch with you.

BTW my former spouse told me how she was amazed how well my Dad ironed. I think he learned partly because there was no such thing as permanent press when he was young and had to learn in college and the Army? When she was staying with my parents after our son was born, she could not walk for a while because DS was resting on a nerve before he was born. So my parents took care of her, fed her, etc. And she was amazed that my Dad even ironed her underwear (as well as the sheets).

Mark who is one of the girls but does not iron as well as his Dad and hoping to be well enough to enjoy CNDG who is coming over for dinner Friday night.. w00t!
