I love learning new things about everyone too. I'm glad I can be encouraging instead of just annoying... LOL. I asked God when I first got back into dating that I would do it right this time... Always in the past I fell HARD for the first guy who paid any attention to me. But since I've had too many failed relationships, I prayed to God to help me make a profound change. I'm happy to say my prayers are being answered. I find the positive in most of my dating experiences, if you haven't noticed. And I'm enjoying each stage... i'm not fixated on finding just ONE mr right.. instead I'm learning alot about myself and the guys I date... taking it all in as a learning experience and having FUN along the way.
Like the other night... a new guy asking for my number. that was soo cool. To me it doesn't matter if he calls. I made the most of the moment and said hello. No regrets....
But now I have his number and what do you think the chances are that he'll get a drunk text at some point if he deosn't calll.... LOL..... alright I suppose I shouldn't drunk text him.. but I still might call him this weekend.
Uh, Pac-Sun.... did you have a LITTLE bit of free time on your hands today?!??? lol
You asked about Ninja Mouse. OMG, there's a whole story behind that critter! Let's just say that she started out as a wild mouse that (I think) came in from the garage, but now is a pet. At the first sighting, I'd see her run across the floor at times, but most of the time I would see my CAT playing with her! He would not kill the mouse- just picked it up gently and "played mouse" with it! lol (what ELSE would you be able to do with a mouse, right?!?)
So I tried to set up those evil spring traps around (in places the cat couldn't get to- like behind BIG pieces of furniture)... but I kept finding traps still set, but the food was gone. Or the trap was sprung, but the food was gone. Never could catch the mouse! Then I got the humane traps (because by this time, I still kept seeing the cat playing with the mouse, and it was obviously a mouse with SPUNK (and 9 lives). I just couldn't kill it the other way... so humane traps it was. Now, that was an event!!!! I kept finding the traps left open (not sprung) but the food gone. Or I would find it sprung, but the food would STILL be gone! I was flabbergasted at just HOW this mouse could do this kind of stunt!!!
And one day I found the mouse trapped inside the humane trap, but before I could do anything, the CAT got to it, and set the mouse free!!!!!!!!!!
And another time, I got the mouse, and got her into a big bucket. She seemed harmless enough. I was getting some pictures of it (lol- me and my camera are TIGHT) and she just jumped out of the bucket and ran away! lol
(I guess I never thought about mice jumping that high. I've had hamsters alot and THEY don't jump!!! lol) duh....
I later got the mouse again, with several trials using those humane traps- and back into the bucket (with a LID this time) and debated about setting her free outside, or not. By this time, we had a working relationship going and it was named Ninja Mouse.... so it just had to become a pet, right?!?
So I got a small mouse cage, some food, some shavings from the pet store... and then when I went to get the mouse into the cage (from the bucket), she got away!
Again with the humane traps again... (and her stealing food without getting caught a few times again, too)
And finally I caught her again. But when I went to get her into the cage with the humane trap... she managed to climb out of the trap and UP, rather than dropping down into the cage!!! Again- I was thinking "hamster" again- where you tip anything and the hamster goes "plop" downward. I just never expected the mouse to leap UP and out of the top of the cage like that! Scared me to death!
I would have FREAKED of that mouse jumped out of bucket like that. Seriously.
Wow, she sounds like quite a mouse! I can't belive the adventures you've had with her. After all that I don't blame you for keeping her as a pet and Ninja is way fitting for a name! That is so cute!!!
Hmmm - that is a mystery. I have no idea why it went missing - maybe someone complained because they felt an invasion of privacy? Please don't take that personally.
But I do remember what you wrote about me and the others and thought it was sweet.

Forrest Gump, Jerry Maguire, American Beauty, Philadelphia, A Beautiful Mind, A Fish Called Wanda, The Pursuit of Happyness.
The house of sand and fog is a good movie too. Really makes you stop and think about actions and their consequences.
