Okay - the 33 year old is OUT. It seems he only wants to promote his events. And I don't want to work for him - just chat and maybe go out. Plus I found out he will travel almost every weekend through the summer. And I know his biz is new and a little risky. So - he is out.

Then there is the short man. He is just 3 years older - but likes to keep fit and wants the same. His first email was nice - he says he works in the town right next to mine. He also mentioned he is going out for a run and hopes to speak with me soon. So I write back a short reply and mention I am also going out for a run. His next note got him the delete key. He writes that is a long run and it might hurt me - it really isn't in the running world - and he says - oh but to flirt a little maybe you will look like the gymnast I dated - she had a great 6pack. DELETE! Like I want to be compared with a former gf so fast? I think NOT. Plus he sounded a bit snooty - he also went on to say that he reread my profile and thought I was cute. Excuse me - it sounds like I contacted him and he was so special he had to be sure. Like I said, DELETE.

Okay - then I got a great note from someone who is just as fit and outdoorsy as me. Loves the same places. Is the same age. Participates in the same sports. He sent an intro. And then an apology for such a short intro - he had to renew his membership just to send me a formal email and didn't want to just leave me with just the intro message. He is tall, of the same religion, has kids that are grown and more. So I wrote him a nice message and will see. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this one sounds really nice and we have so much in common already.

Haven't read ahead to see if you updates, but I'm got the short man and the 33 yo got the axe, so to speak.

any news on Mr Detective? Hopefully something will progress with either him or fitness dude, or both!!

Moody, hoping you have a date lined up soon!

Yes - he is the one I have liked the most out of all the guys I have seen online both past and present because to me he matches from what I see on paper - with his height, religion, job, pictures, and most importantly his activities. I like what he writes and his effort that he joined to talk to me.

We were emailing every day - but yesterday he did not email back. I am not going to email anymore - I am able to know that he did read my email and it was short and casual responding to something he said and asking him something else. Maybe he was just busy and I will hear back later on. Whatever. If he answers and is interested that is okay and if not that is okay too I will just wait for the next one.

I am still getting a lot of notes and winks and whatevers each day. I had a post somewhere in here about a guy that got mad because after 2 emails and living far away he wanted to know if he was THE ONE for me. Like go jump in a lake, dude. How would you ever know that by email? And really anyway I would not consider him a match based on where he lives and what he likes to do. Although he was a quality person and attractive.

<< Unless of course, you want to join him in a run, and leave 'em in the dust! You're probably faster than he - all that ego must weigh a lot, lol.>>>

You are cracking me up! That's funny, and pretty much what I thought, too!

Kudos to you, Judy, for being the person you are, and knowing what you want!

Moody, still chuckling
