For those of you that keep diaries or journals, do you ever go back and read old ones?

Sometimes I journal, but more often I look over old emails or something.

Last week I was going through a box of papers, throwing stuff away, and I found a 'letter of intention' to myself from January 2001. Things I wanted to accomplish, ya know?

I had accomplished several, and the rest I have made progress in. It was nice to see I have done things I wanted to do. :)

I haven't kept a journal for a few years, but I do remember reading the one from 6th grade a few years ago. I was laughing so hard! One about a dozen pages it would go on about the new love of my life, then the next 40 or so would be how horrible he was LOL!

Good times, good times...

I have kept a dating journal since my divorce. And I have a journal regaring the story of my marriage and divorce. I find it helpful sometimes to write out a story.

The dating journal was meant to be a positive record of who I have met and what they have brought. Now it is sort of funny - and I have posted part of it on this board.
