Ok - you have said too much.....salad and ice cream and that was it??? No carb loading (or do you do that before a race - or maybe that is a misconception?)
At any rate - I am totally impressed - especially with the fact that you are not going to take a day off. You are right back on the horse already!
After all the sweet gatorade and power bars and heat and running to exhaustion, you are NOT very hungry after the race.
I was trying to eat something so I wouldn't wake up hungry in the middle of the night.
The carbo loading takes place the day before - you just eat very good very early - but really - every day I carbo load to have the energy to train. I eat very little fat - lots of salad and pasta and rice and fruit and cereal.
Me too, me too! In fact I may be going up to Jackson Hole the last week of June for my family vacation. We've only been there during ski season. I want to get out of the AZ heat. I may decide Telluride is far enough for this summer, save Wyoming for next year.

When is your next event?

My next big race is in August.
I love Jackson Hole!
