OMG! I was helping a friend make her profile & up pops my freinds H's pic. A isnt a VERY good friend of mine, but IS a very good accquaintance. Ave & her dd have been freinds since pre-school. We have been at many adult & kids paties together, taken the girls to the Ice Capades, etc.

I think it is a great point - but it is also a great lesson for all of us - that separated is not good and that it is a matter of buyer beware - meaning be careful.

You can always do an online search of county courthouse records to see if the person has a criminal record or domestic violence charges. And you can check property appraiser records to see if there is a woman's name on the house. And you can verify divorce records in the county courthouse.

It is not often I come across something problematic - but one I met in real life had 2 DUIs, another online had domestic violence charges with 2 different women and a recent one was only divorced 2 months - the irony is that he is a psychologist and wants someone who is emotionally available - what an idiot - I deleted him.

A hearty "here! here!" to the recommendation for checking public records.

Well, the credit goes to you and rlch for all of those signs! I think I was slap happy after having to be in bed all day yesterday!

But today am better - although I am packing to go home - wish I could stay another week but then there is the issue of the house, the pool, the kid, the dogs and the biz - not necessarily in that order - but I guess it is good to say I am needed and wanted where I live!! :-)

Yes - it is a bummer but I will only lose a few days of training and did have some really good days in the beginning of the week. My coach will probably put in a full load next week. Fortunately I have had a good year up to now - very consistent so that says a lot. And I said, if I have to get sick, better now than 1 or 2 weeks before the big race - am hoping this gives immunity til then!

The funny thing, I was thinking, is that give him one month of all the OLD shenanigans, and he will want her back!! LOL!!
