Ugg I just did the bathing suit date thing, and yes it is no fun lol. I just knew that from the neck up I looked fabulous and that kept my spirits up LOL.

who cares what he was going to be...its his loss! You all are some fantastic women on this board and i'm very happy that you all have welcomed me with open arms. Esp when I complain about something silly.

Just get in the suit and have a good time. I think thats what guy are looking for anyhow. A woman who can have fun and not care so much about appearances. At least that is what I am telling myself. I met the steam room guy just like that. In a swim suit. Hair sticking straight up. Just worked out for 2 hours and didnt care what i looked like. I think he picked up on my confidence and like that.
So go swimming and be confident that you look just fine. Your confidence will overshadow any thing else.

COOL! So glad he called! Yeah, I have a tendency to jump the gun and then the SHIP!
I go into instant panic mode, too. I always assume the worst. Then I try to understand the "rules" and fail miserably. My New Flame has never gone more than a full 24 hours without contact, yet at hour 23, I feel then end of the world is near. So stupid. He texts back immediately. So why the panic? Probably when it is so nice, you don't want it to end.
Recently had bathing suit problem. What to buy. Solution: I brought my dearest friend, who practically threatened bodily harm if I didn't try 6 or 7 suits of her choosing. She literally stood outside the dressing room door, telling everyone what she was there to do. She analyzed every suit, and made me buy one I would NEVER have bought, but I actually looked pretty good in it.
Now if I could get her to go jeans shopping with me.
