Kind of peeved....

Ok, so I got sold to my new company two months ago. I had to give up my corporate and personal credit card and reapply for a new corporate card. Well, it seems that my new company took every OUNCE of money I was still good to receive credit on and used it towards my corporate credit card limit. Therefore, I can NO longer apply for any personal cards, because my limit has exceeded. NOW my credit is totally shot to hell because of all these credit cards that I've had to apply for in the last 3 years with my companys and opening new accounts since I came to the states. Now remember, I didn't have any credit until three years ago, so I had to open car loans, bank loans, everytime they did a credit check for a move, etc etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. Then I find out some medical bills aren't paid yet, which is no big deal, because I have plenty left on my health card to pay it off, but it's now stuck in collections, because they didn't send me the bill or they might have still had a wrong address.
So now I'm screwed and I want to move to Texas. How am I going to get a house to rent when they do ANOTHER credit check on all my utilities and credit? How can I get approved without this being an issue? I paid everything on time over a year now, so I'm not behind in any payments. Nor have I ever in rent or utilities. Can anyone shed light on how best to get past this? Am I really going to have to worry about getting the ok on renting a house?

Thats ridiculous! Do you NEED a 12K limit on your corporate card? Can you tell them it MUST be lowered?

I think you will be able to get around the credit thing with landlords. Especially if you can give them cash down maybe for the damage deposit, or maybe even a double deposit or something? But if you give them cash, as you know, be SURE its well documented legally in case. Good luck!

Yeah, we have some HUGE upscale events, so I can understand if it were an embarrassment that I wasn't covered enough. I know other planners that have 20 thousand or more, but still, kind of upsetting when it affects my overall credit.

I would ask if you can get the card under the COMPANY name instead.

Ba humbug on them!

Doesn't work that way. I already tried talking and now i'm not going to cause more of a stink. I'm just lucky to have a job still.
