I don't think it is creepy at all. Although I wouldn't go to a complete stranger's house. Obviously you are not interested in him since he isn't what you consider a hottie.

I would not like that either. I don't like the "cook you dinner" thing at all for a first date.

I wouldn't be creeped out, I'd be flattered!

Interesting perspective.... i didn't reply to his second email that said i can choose the menu.... How should i reply if i don't want to accept the dinner invite but maybe something else..

Hottie for me is visually pleasing.... eye candy but perhaps doesn't include sexual desire... but if he's that hot, i'm sure i'm sexually attracted too.

This guy looks between 35 - 45..... he seemed nice but i wasn't attracted... so he may be in the friend category....

Hmm... Coming up with something short enough to fit in a text message is

Why not suggest he pack a picnic for you and you'll meet him at a park? That way he could "cook" for you without having to go to his place.

Just make sure you're clear with him if you're not interested in him romantically though, you wouldn't want to give him the wrong idea- if he's pursuing you in a relationship/ sexual motif and you're thinking only friends.
