Im glad the seizures have been kept at bay. Did you ever look into a ketogenic diet for her as well. Dont know much about CP know more about Epilepsy. The diet really helps in keeping the seizures down. Its quite sad that her other children monitor her child with needs for specialized care. She doesnt deserve to be a mother. Glad you are both in her life. Really though the lawyer should look into the child endangerment issue.

"Well, she opened her mouth, he ended the trial and SEV won! The best part is - she came back and in her appeal said that SEV and the (female) judge had a 'thing' going, and that's why he won!!! "

Well, you can't fix stupid!! Seriously, big kudos to both you and Sev. I think you have both lucked out finding each other. I hope his attorney nails her to the wall on the latest litigation. Any chance they can go for her having to pay Sev's attorney fees?

I believe that because she is 18 and considered an adult, she would have to have a guardian/conservator appointed to take care of her. At least, that is the way it works here.

To be honest, I'm not 100% certain of the legalities/reasons behind parents having to petition for custody of their disabled child at 18.
