ROTFL! My very hot friend (met off Myspace last year) is seeing this guy. She likes me because I'm the only guy friend she has who does not want to nail her and hence I'm the ONLY guy friend she has (she's the hottest babe I've ever personally known in my life BTW).
Anyway when we were out for drinks her current bf texts her just to check up on her because he knew I was with her. Afterwards she tells me that he was grateful for me because I got her to drink and I guess she gets more ummm "looser" when she drinks and he benefits from the outcome. I told her I can get her warmed up in a more "natural" way without the benefit of alcohol *smirk*

So Rebecca, whether drinking or phoning.. hey that's me! Mr. Warm up the Women Best Guy Friend.

Mark... doing his bit for mankind

Oh BTW, I think Rebecca loved my heavy breathing....

That is funny. Mark, do you think that would work for all of us? That if we talk to you, all the guys we like would start texting us? You could be RICH!!

I love platonic guy friends, it's like spying on the opposition.

Tracy doesn't have a manly bone in his body, so that kind of backfires for me.

I probably know more gay men than straight since my Dad is gay (flying out of the closet again - sorry Dad) and I work in the arts. The perfect guy friend who is gay is th gay guy who used to date women past the college point. One of my good friends is gay but was engaged to a woman before he came out so he understands male female relationships in a way my other gay friends cant. He is one of those guys who you might not expect is gay right away as is my Dad - of course he wasnt always gay either - duh:)
My duo partner ( pianist) is gay and has been with his guy since college so that makes almost 19 years or something now. They are so great together and they knew each other when neither had anything to show for themselves, kind of starving in school. Now they are living really well and enjoying the fruits of their career labor and their relationship - happiest couple I know. On of them has NEVER been with a woman and the other dated many so they are great with their different relationship advice. I think it must be very different to "know" women inside of an intimate relationship with all of the emotions that fly around. The one who has dated women has been able to help me in many dating dilemmas where the other one has been laughing ( with love) and at a total loss.
Just thought I would chime in!!

I somehow am able to turn off my hormones with women that I'm friends with (maybe it's my old age).
