R, I'm glad this guy seems to know what he's doing, and I'm glad he's truly on Averey's side.
I hope somehow you get the money *and* he starts being a decent person to her. He's her father, and hopefully he'll go to counseling and see what his actions do to her.
Let us know how it all works out!

It is great that you have someone positive on your side who acknowledges your struggles and will work the system for you.

Of course I hope you get those fees back and get the exh straightened out - you will have to keep us posted. We are rooting for you!

If you don't get the fees back, hopefully they will be a good investment to keep him paying CS and to keep his mouth shut and be a better dad to DD. That IS a lot of money to shell out, but I would do it too if I was you.

Good luck!

Our legal system is so messed up when it comes to lawyer fees, especially with divorce/custody issues. Don't get me started on special education lawyers.

Whoo Hoo! Its friday .. court is MONDAY.

X never saw the COURT-ORDERED counselor & never paid me a DIME of the $930 past due CS.

I have not a CLUE what he is thinking ... but even LESS what his atty was thinking, not being sure he followed thru.

So .. I wll have, i HOPE, a big POSITIVE update on Monday! Wish me luck ... & pray the judge is having a REALLY BAD DAY!

I am rooting for u. I have a great gf who is going through a custody battle currently and although is akes no sense to us whatsoever he is constantly messing up and not following the judges orders or just not showing up at all. It is atrocious and it isnt logical since he says he wants custody. I thknk some men simply do not like to be told what to do and they get some sort of misplaced weirdo macho reaction where they act out when they have been "ordered" to comply with anything. Interesting as a behavior and useful for my friend and yourself I hope. Women dont tend to lash out this way as far as I know and I can only think that your ex had as many control issues as my friend's did. Good luck good luck good luck on Monday:)
