First broken heart: see above.. he broke my heart... i just had my 18th birthday too... i thought he was the cutest thing but he just turned 21 and wanted to mess around with other women... took me three months to get over him..
First Concert: Rick Springfield... i was 13 years old.
First time living away from home: I moved to Texas from Hawaii with a high school friend when i was 18. We had quite an adventure.. we rented a little two bedroom apartment... unfortunately she had a boyfriend move in and then it was three's a crowd.
First time doin' the deed (location, circumstances) same above mentioned boyfriend (see first love)... at my house when no one was home... on the living room floor, we started making out and went further.. but the sexual tension had been building for several dates... however, he didn't know it was my first time... fortunately he was very small....
First Job: TCBY yogurt... i was sixteen... i wanted to buy music and concert tickets... i had a blast eating yogurt in the back room and working with my best friends.
First major achievement/accomplishment: about one year's old.. walking....lol
First time/moment you really KNEW you were going to make it alone..independent, as a single mom (or dad): the night my ex was arrested (for the umpteenth time, but the last time for me)... that was Oct 2004... we were married at the time and my youngest was only 4 months old. We had been in the cycle of domestic violence for just about 2 years... i left him three times prior but

First Love: Kevin, aw sweet Kevin, we felt the sparks senior year in HS at Model U.N but didn't become an item until after graduation (because I was with Trent)
First broken heart: kevin - 1st and several broken heartedness over a seven yr period.
First Concert: Bryan Adams with Patti Smythe
First time living away from home: college, apt in the fan (city)
First time doin' the deed (location, circumstances) college of William and Mary dorm room. Kevin, freshman year, we were in love but had no idea what we were doing. We kept practicing though
First Job: Coat check girl for a country club.
First major achievement/accomplishment: Auditioning and being accepted into the Art School at VCU as a Dance Major (it was the 3rd top art school in the nation at the time) I lacked self confidence which was my ultimate downfall but I remember being thrilled that they found me talented enough
First time/moment you really KNEW you were going to make it alone..independent, as a single mom (or dad): last October; my son has been sick a lot since his birth with RSV at 2 months, asthma issues, etc... He was having difficulty breathing and a croupy cough one night and we ended up in the ER all night. I handled it all by myself and realized that I could take care of my son in even the worst circumstances with ease. The nurses and doctors commended me for taking the appropriate action as his oxygen count was extremely low. I realized then and there that I have the right instincts when it comes to my child.
