It sounds like CW's birthday weekend was very nice! How did she like the cooking class gift? And how did she react to hearing "I love you"?

I would not have like biking 25 miles in the cold either. Ooooh that sounded cozy falling asleep by the fireplace in fleece with hot tea near by. THAT sounds nice!

As for CW's dd, that does put you in a bind sort of. You would not feel right saying anything to the dd, but I'm sure that your advice and opinions would be welcomed by CW (hopefully anyway) when you are away from her dd. BE gives me his feedback on how my dd acts sometimes. Usually he adores her but like any kid, she can have her moments. I appreciate his comments and take them into consideration, and he feels good by contributing his thoughts.

I think why it's hard for me to be really excited about CW is that she hold her own emotions in check and internal so I don't get that effervescence or emotional "hit" of big joy (or drama or anger).

Sounds like a very nice couple of days. I hope therapy can help as well. Good for you with the leap of faith. I love you can be scary. I feel it but I don't dare say it to Ducks Fan yet because I am terrified.
