Making me like him more.

My DD8 (second daughter) broke up with her boyfriend yesterday- or he broke up with her- not quite clear on the details. He is my godson and 5 years ago they decided they were getting married but they called it off. Anyhow she was pretty heartbroken and when my man called she answered the phone (I was mid diaper change) and told him all about it. He said to her, "You are a very smart, sweet, and beautiful little girl and any boy who can't see that isn't worth your tears." It made her feel better which I had been trying all night to do. (Her godmother even brought her a cup of Ben and Jerry's and some cookie dough.) She gave me the phone and I thanked him for being so sweet with her and he said it was not a problem at all. He knew just what to say to make it all better. I am thinking things will go fine when we introduce them. DD made cupcakes and decorated a special one with strict instructions to bring it to him and so he is excited about his treat tomorrow.

Well he gets my cupcake seal of approval as well. Anyone who can mend a broken heart over the first bf is a definite plus in my book! Sounds like a good guy!
Yeah I was impressed. He told her he loved her cupcake and she said he was handsome LOL! They haven't met but I guess she just figures he must be (he is).
ANd the happy ending was my daughter and her little boyfriend reconciled.
